Our client based in Aldermaston is looking to recruit a Logistics & Warehouse Co-ordinator to join their team; the ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is proactive, shows good attention to detail and is passionate/motivated to get the job done in an efficient manner.

Job Purpose

· Monitor, control and update progress of incoming supplier shipments via Sea, Air & Land – from Far East, EU and UK

· Work with the Warehouse to organise most effective delivery times of products for storage into the Warehouse

· Point of contact for arranging domestic shipping (UPS), pallet and courier services

· Control external 3rd party warehouse – transfer of stock between and direct shipments from

· Obtain, check and prepare documentation to ensure customs and insurance requirements are met

· Confirm commodity code classification to ensure correct codes are applied to incoming orders and to ensure duty is paid

· Arrange customs clearance for inbound shipments via Sea, Air, Road and Courier services

· Work with our Finance team to ensure payment of freight and other charges or collection of payments are made on time

· Utilise technology to enable real time tracking of goods

· Arranging stock-takes on a rolling basis through system

· Provide an accurate delivery schedule for the business to co-ordinate across departments

· Organise internal work orders and control stock picking process from a system point of view

· Check Import Entries for irregularities and amend accordingly

· Point of contact for supplier returns via RMA system

· Place purchase orders for non-inventory stock, packaging and company supplies

· Company system maintenance with respect to role and touch points – ensuring MRP/ERP/CRM systems are updated and maintained to ensure accurate information

· Involvement in EU directives – WEEE, Packaging Waste, Batteries etc

Experience:

· Knowledge of logistic processes – SEA, AIR, freight forwarders, customs etc

· Use of an MRP/ERP/CRM system – NetSuite, Salesforce or similar

· Warehouse operational control – stock movements (in/out), stock counts, work/transfer orders
