Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Our client is looking to recruit a hands-on individual that will work between various departments, third parties and suppliers within the field of logistics and stock control.

  • Monitor, control and update progress of incoming supplier shipments via Sea, Air & Land

  • Control external 3rd party warehouse – transfer of stock and direct shipments

  • Obtain, check and prepare documentation to ensure customs and insurance requirements are met - training given

  • Classify and adhere to all product code classification to ensure correct codes are applied duty paid - training given

  • Arrange customs clearance for inbound shipments via Sea, Air, Road and Courier services

  • Work with our Finance team to ensure payment of freight and other charges or collection of payments are made on time

  • Utilise technology to enable real time tracking of goods

  • Work with the Warehouse to organise most effective delivery times of products for storage into the Warehouse and arranging stock-takes on a rolling basis

  • Provide an accurate delivery schedule for the business to co-ordinate across departments

  • Organise internal work orders and control stock picking process from a system point of view

  • Check Import Entries for irregularities and amend accordingly - training given

  • Work with the Quality Controller to assist with supplier returns

  • Ensure regular ongoing communication with the Purchasing and Warehouse teams to keep everyone in the loop with the timings of deliveries into the Warehouse
