larger production orders inclusive of full box build.
new accounts are won through new business activities, our client require
motivated, professional and personable individuals who can maintain and grow
customer relationships. Including telephone contact, face to face meetings on
site and occasional external customer visits in the UK.
job scope includes managing the complete cycle of work required to generate
costings and estimates for product manufacturing, progressing quotes/bids to
close and assisting in customer support for ongoing orders.
viewing and working with BOM’s, issue-controlled drawings and data.
concise quotations via ERP, in context of terms.
and negotiating quotes through to the order win stage.
with customers and project meetings and QA meetings.
production orders and NPI projects.
site tours with periodic visits to customer sites.
follow up by telephone, skype and physical visits.
ability to understand and communicate technical issues, together with a good
appreciation of the commercial issues surrounding winning business is required.
A personal approach with the ability to negotiate and discuss commercial
matters with customers.
the cycle of production account managers interface with internal staff to
ensure that all relevant data is obtained, and all customer requirements are
delivered internally and achieved. A pro-active approach is required to ensure
the smooth delivery of multiple orders and projects.
client are looking for a candidate with some background in manufacturing,
component distribution, PCB assembly or a closely connected market. A customer
focused person who can maintain and grow relationships with buyers and
engineers alike, to support the process of quotations through to order intake.
Manufacturing; either electronic/mechanical/circuit board.
Electronic components or manufactures part numbers, multi-level BOMs.
Issue & revision control of drawings and data.
Reading and understanding dimensioned drawings/data.
Costing models/Costing parameters.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and any type of ERP/MRP system.
per week: 39 (1/2 hour lunch)
degree of reciprocal flexibility is required.
